The players will receive coaching as part of a chamber music course and rehearse and perform pieces prepared specifically for their ensembles. The course will conclude in a final concert at St Peter’s Church, Notting Hill at 4.30pm with a party and ceilidh on the evening of Saturday, August 3, 2019.

During the London visit the band will be performing at St Martin-in-the-Fields as part of its regular concert series. More details and BOOKING INFORMATION here.

The tutors will also be working with the children to develop productive practice methods, technique, musical appreciation, stage presentation and maintaining peak performance. Of course, team bonding, socialising and learning more about London life and British culture will be an important part of the band’s visit to London so we’ll be organising some great sightseeing ventures including a boat trip down the River Thames and a day out at Windsor Castle.
